Made for the Magical Girl Game Jam #4

Defend the colors of the world!

Al van Jant, a very egoistical man, wishes to erase all the colour of the World just because he can. Reine D'Baul, an ex-magical girl tasked with the responsability of supervising the world, decides that she doesnt have the power to stop him all by herself, and thus recruits many other girls from all over the universe in order to fight off his terrible army of creatures made of bleach.

Many things still to come!

  1. Many different types of magical girls.
  2. More stages to defend.
  3. More enemy types.
  4. A better upgrade for the girls.
  5. A basic tutorial.
  6. Better balancing.
  7. Most important: BUG FIXING.

Controls

Mouse: Click on the circles in the map to place the girls.
Click on the girl to upgrade her.

Very basic at this state but plenty of potential like you say. Upgrading girls feels random, not sure who's ready to upgrade, how much it will cost, how much stronger or faster they'll get.  Ended up just clicking all around to see who would take money. Seemed like some girls would upgrade 3 or 4 times and some never.  But like you said, it's in work.


Already I can see on the positive side, you do have to think about where you place girls.  It's the only choice we have at this stage, more or less, and yet it does matter. So that's cool.  Put them in a place where they don't get to hit the enemy twice (coming and going) early on and the player won't make it to the next stage. Nice to need to put a little thought into it.


All in all, can't wait to see where you take this.
